For coaching classes and tuition teachers
The coaching class,
on the parent's phone.
Mark attendance in fifteen seconds. The parent knows within a minute — over WhatsApp, even if they never install anything.
No card. No setup fee. Nothing to install for parents.
The one thing that matters
Something happens in class. The parent finds out today.
Not at the next parent meeting. Not when the report card arrives. Today — which is the only thing that actually changes a parent's relationship with your institute.

Something happens
Aarav is absent. A fee falls due. The Friday class moves to 5pm.
In class
- 02
One tap records it
The teacher taps the exceptions on their phone. Nobody re-keys anything into a register later.

App installed? A push notification, free. Otherwise a WhatsApp message.

The parent knows
Within a minute, in the app they already have open all day.
Parent
Built for how it really is
Most parents will never install your app. That's fine.
Every other school app treats this as a problem to nag people out of. We designed for it instead — WhatsApp is a first-class channel, not a fallback bolted on later.
- A parent with no app still gets every absence alert and fee reminder.
- Nothing sends between 9pm and 7am. Fee reminders at 6am lose you customers.
- Both parents get the message. Neither gets it twice.
- Three homework posts in one evening become one message, not three.
Aarav Sharma was marked absent in Class 10 — Mathematics today, 26 August, 4:00 pm.

This parent has never opened the Play Store. They are fully served.
What you get
Everything a coaching class actually runs on
And deliberately nothing it doesn't.
Attendance
Everyone starts present. Tap the exceptions and submit. The button tells you how many parents will be notified before you press it.
Fee reminders
Set the amount and interval once. Reminders go out three days before, on the day, and at +3 and +7 if unpaid — then stop.
Manual fee records
Cash, UPI, bank, cheque — however you already collect. Tap Mark as Paid and the reminders stop instantly.
One-link joining
Paste one link into the parents’ WhatsApp group you already have. Only numbers on your roster can use it.
Announcements
A changed class time, a holiday, a deadline — to one batch or the whole institute. Teachers can only post to their own batches.
Multiple teachers
An admin sees everything. Each teacher sees only their own batches and students. Enforced in the database, not just hidden in the menu.
A promise, not a feature
We never touch your money.
StudyBuddy has no payment gateway and never will hold your fees. Parents pay you at the centre exactly as they do today — cash, UPI, bank transfer. You tapMark as Paidand the reminders stop.
What you get is the chasing done for you, a record parents can see, and a list of who hasn't paid this month.
The details that break other apps
One phone number. Two children. Both parents.
A father with kids in two batches. A mother who shares the same children. A teacher who is also a parent at the institute next door. These aren't edge cases here — they're Tuesday.
Sign in once with a phone number and you see everything that number is connected to. No second account, no separate login per child, no asking a parent which of their kids they meant.
Founding institutes
Free for six months. Then we decide together.
We're onboarding our first institutes personally. You get everything free for six months, and what you tell us shapes what gets built next.
Takes about two minutes. You can add your first batch straight away.
